Amid treble-digit-percentage price rises for several different generic molecules in the UK in August, betahistine tablets saw the steepest increase, according to the latest figures from market researcher WaveData.
Based on trade prices to UK independent pharmacists, WaveData calculated that 16mg betahistine tablets in 84-count packs experienced an average price rise of 342% to £6.27 ($7.70), as the cheapest price on offer jumped by more than half to £0.95
