Second Acquisition In A Month Gives UK Liquids Specialist A Bridgehead In The US

UK liquids specialist Rosemont Pharmaceuticals has delivered on promises to expand into the US market by striking a deal to acquire Georgia-based distributor Sabal Therapeutics.

Rosemont Pharmaceuticals is making major inroads into the US market after the UK-based liquids specialist struck a deal to acquire Sabal Therapeutics and its affiliates Metacel Pharmaceuticals, Palmetto Pharmaceuticals, Athena Bioscience and Sarras Health. The privately-owned group are distributors of prescription liquid medicines as well as tablets, based in Watkinsville, Georgia.
