Rosemont Pharmaceuticals is making major inroads into the US market after the UK-based liquids specialist struck a deal to acquire Sabal Therapeutics and its affiliates Metacel Pharmaceuticals, Palmetto Pharmaceuticals, Athena Bioscience and Sarras Health. The privately-owned group are distributors of prescription liquid medicines as well as tablets, based in Watkinsville, Georgia.
The deal – which Rosemont said “enhances its ability to develop products for global market” – follows indications from CEO Howard Taylor earlier this year that the firm was on the lookout
