Ultrasound technology firm names Timothy A. Marcotte president and CEO, effective this month. Marcotte replaces former CEO Jay Miller, who left Zonare in July 2011. Marcotte began at Zonare in 2007 as the company’s chief financial officer, having previously been CFO at VNUS Medical Technologies, a venous reflux disease device firm. (See Also see "People In Brief" - Medtech Insight, 17 September, 2007..) Since last August, he has served as Zonare’s chief operating officer.
