Philips Respironics, a subsidiary of Royal Philips Electronics NV, launched its SleepMapper mobile app for patients with obstructive sleep apnea, April 24. The app helps patients comply with their positive airway pressure therapy by setting goals and educating patients. Approximately 4 percent of men and 2 percent of women in the United Stated are diagnosed with the condition.
