The long-awaited Accelerated Access Review (AAR), proposed in 2015 and now being developed within the UK government's Industrial Strategy, was elevated back to the top of the UK health-care agenda today when health minister James O'Shaughnessy pledged an £86m ($111m) package of funding to develop four areas of activity and innovation across the UK life sciences industries.
