The only barrier between a positive Senate vote on repeal of the medical device tax could be Senate leaders’ willingness to bring the tax repeal measure, S. 108, up for a vote on a floor. That could happen this year either in late August, or in September – although the chamber will be busy working on funding bills that must be completed before the new fiscal year starts on Oct. 1, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said in June.
