AdvaMed's next board chair will be Stryker CEO Kevin Lobo, who will fill the leadership role beginning next March, when current chair Nadim Yared's two-year tenure is over. Lobo pledged to to work to improve diversity in industry.

The Edison System, cleared by the US FDA in late 2023, is also being evaluated for kidney and pancreatic tumors. CEO Mike Blue said the medtech is financially secure but watching public markets as it considers an IPO.
