Departing FDA Head Gottlieb Advises Successor Sharpless To Heed Center Directors, Defends Budget To Congress

In addition to sharing parting advice he gave to incoming acting US FDA Commissioner Ned Sharpless on leading the agency, current FDA chief Scott Gottlieb told the House Appropriations Committee’s Agriculture, Rural Development and FDA Subcommittee on April 3 that the proposed fiscal year 2020 budget would support a new “knowledge management system” at the agency to make reviews of device product applications more efficient.
