Medtronic PLC is advancing renal denervation therapy for hypertension with a new trial evaluating a simplified approach for radiofrequency ablation of the renal nerves.

Renal denervation is the ablation of the renal nerves to interrupt renal sympathetic nerve activity that contributes to hypertension
