The UK’s National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) is marking its 22 years of existence with a new plan of action to enable it to assess and provide access to a widening range of health technologies in a faster, more agile manner.
The health technology assessment (HTA) body’s five-year strategy for 2021-26 was launched by the minister for innovation at the Department of Health and Social Care, Lord Bethell. He said the review is intended to ensure NICE adapts to new opportunities
