Swiss company Distalmotion SA is claiming a major breakthrough for its CE-marked Dexter surgical robot, after it was used in a clinical setting on gynecology patients for the first time. The hybrid robotic surgery device was used in a number of hysterectomies performed at the Inselspital, in Bern, Switzerland.
