A study out of Taipei Medical University found that men who had robot-assisted radical prostatectomy (RARP) – partial or complete removal of the prostate – did better than men who had non-robotic surgeries.

Among the 1,407 men participating in the study, the 816 that underwent RARP had fewer complications and shorter hospital stays than the 315 participants that had open radical prostatectomy (ORP)...
