CobiCure Will Develop Cardiac Devices For Children, Sans Profit Motive

Money talks when it comes to medtech, and to develop a commercially successful device, its target population must be either large or valuable – often a combination of both. CobiCure, a non-profit founded by the Advancium Health Network, hopes to defy this trend by working to address unmet needs in the treatment of congenital cardiac disorders.

The Advancium Health Network is an independent public charity originally established by Deerfield Management and the Deerfield Foundation.
