Abbott’s flagship CGM, the FreeStyle Libre 3, will soon become available in the UK through the National Health Service as part of a hybrid closed-loop system utilizing Ypsomed and CamDiab’s technologies.

Abbott Laboratories’ FreeStyle Libre 3 continuous glucose monitor (CGM) is now authorized in the UK to be used with Ypsomed’s YpsoPump and CamDiab’s CamAPS FX mobile app in type I diabetics.

Patients will be able to access the system through the NHS.
