Solventum: The Identity Of 3M’s Health Care Spin-Off

3M’s health care company spin-off is expected to be launched in the first half of 2024 under the name Solventum.

3M’s $8.4bn health care division will be spun out from the company in the first half of 2024 under plans announced this week. The new entity will be known as Solventum, a portmanteau of “solving” and “momentum.”
