Australian health and wellness firm Swisse Vitamins Pty Ltd moves into international markets and names actress Nicole Kidman its global ambassador. Kidman will front the expansion as the roll-out of Swisse products begins in the U.S. in January 2013, followed by the U.K., Europe and Asia. Swisse and Kidman will film a TV commercial in Australia for global distribution. "I joined Swisse because I wanted to help bring awareness to the importance of living a healthy lifestyle in a busy, often stressful world," she said. The firm currently markets more than 100 vitamin and supplement products in Australia and is working with regulatory agencies on launching in international markets, according to an Aug. 30 release.
