ORLANDO, Fla. – The first day of the Association for Accessible Medicine's annual meeting at the JW Marriott here ended with an outdoor reception featuring a cover band that played a number of punk anthems. The selections at first appeared a strange choice for a gathering of executives in their business attire.
But as the crowd started to thin near the end, the band played "I Want To Be Sedated" by the Ramones, and that seemed to match many people's mood pretty well. It's been a tough year for AAM, one that's seen a lot of progress on a number policy issues but that now finds the industry confronting a threat to 180-day exclusivity
