A knowledge management program has helped Pfizer Inc. ease the path for smoother technology transfers by harnessing institutional knowledge. The program allows employees to ensure that processes remain stable during technology transfer as well as to examine the root causes of problems during investigations by drawing from a rich database of knowledge on the process used to make the product.
