Pfizer has developed a multilayered knowledge management program that aims to ease the tech transfer process by harnessing institutional knowledge into one place. The program allows employees to ensure that processes remain stable during tech transfer by exploring all available process knowledge available on the product.

A knowledge management program has helped Pfizer Inc. ease the path for smoother technology transfers by harnessing institutional knowledge. The program allows employees to ensure that processes remain stable during technology transfer as well as to examine the root causes of problems during investigations by drawing from a rich database of knowledge on the process used to make the product.
