EMA And Dutch Govt Eye July Signing Of Deal To Move Agency To Amsterdam

The EMA and the Dutch authorities are expected to sign the agreement on the agency’s new home in Amsterdam on July 1. The agreement is aimed at ensuring the agency can function properly once it relocates, and describes how the Dutch government will treat the agency and its staff.

Agreement on EMA relocation to Amsterdam should be signed by July

The European Medicines Agency and the Dutch government hope to sign the “Seat Agreement” that will kick off the next stage of the agency’s Brexit-induced relocation process on July 1. The agreement is intended to allow the EMA to function properly and independently once it relocates from London to the Dutch capital Amsterdam in the first quarter of 2019.
