A new non-profit coalition is now up and running to help guide and coordinate the data architecture systems that participants in the biopharma distribution chain should have in place to communicate with each other under the US Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) to prevent drug counterfeiting.
One of the first items of business for the group, called the Partnership for DSCSA Governance (PDG), is to establish a “blueprint” for database architecture systems to ensure that members of the supply chain can transmit information up and down the supply chain to track products, said Eric Marshall, the executive director of the group
