As the UK prepares for talks on post-Brexit free trade agreements with the EU and other countries around the world, the life science industry has called for a specific pharmaceutical annex in any FTAs.

The UK government has promised that medicine prices and the National Health Service will not be “on the table” when it negotiates a free trade agreement with the US, and that it intends to secure provisions in the FTA that support innovative companies in the UK.
