Coronavirus Notebook: Regulators To Work Together On Vaccine Evaluation, AstraZeneca In Russia Link-Up

The European Medicines Agency is working with other international regulators on vaccine evaluation, and there are encouraging new data on the efficacy of Russia’s Sputnik V vaccine. Also, AstraZeneca is linking up with the funders of Sputnik V to help boost efficacy of the UK vaccine it is developing with Oxford University. Finally, the medicines quality department at the Council of Europe has produced recommendations on the control of viral vectored vaccines to support COVID-19 candidate developers.
