The US Food and Drug Administration is poised to receive a $103.6m increase in appropriations in fiscal year 2021, along with added coronavirus response funding.
The nearly 5,600-page bill, which passed Congress on 21 December, gives $5.88bn to the agency for FY 2021 activities. About $2.7bn of the total will come from user fees and the remainder, $3.2bn, is budget authority, or non-user fee dollars
