A wide-ranging survey by Europe’s research-based pharma industry says moves towards replacing paper product information are gathering pace, although numerous challenges will need to be overcome.

Full implementation of electronic product information (ePI) on medicines in the EU may not be achieved until 2030, according to a survey conducted by the European R&D-based pharmaceutical industry federation, EFPIA.
