ECHA Refines Compliance Checks For REACH Dossiers

The European Chemicals Agency is implementing “targeted” compliance checks on registration dossiers under REACH to address issues that have an “immediate impact on safety,” ECHA Senior Scientific Officer George Cartlidge reported at the agency’s May 23 Stakeholders Day, one year in advance of the next REACH registration deadline.

With a major registration deadline under the REACH chemicals program less than a year away, the European Chemicals Agency is leveraging IT for “targeted” compliance checks on dossiers, the agency reports during its May 23 Stakeholders Day in Helsinki.
