P&G Investigates Greenpeace Claims Against Palm Oil Suppliers

Procter & Gamble is launching an investigation into a report by Greenpeace claiming the firm sources palm oil from suppliers or third parties involved in deforestation in Indonesia. The Cincinnati-based firm says it takes the allegations “very seriously” and is acting upon them, while the NGO says the company has greenwashed its efforts so far and should commit to making “real guarantees” in promoting sustainability.
