[Abbott Nutrition]'s reported second quarter total revenues grow 1.4% to $1.7b, including $972m in infant formula and other pediatric product sales and $768 in adult nutrition sales. The division of Abbott Laboratories Inc.on July 20 said its domestic sales grew 3% to $750m and international sales were flat – up 0.2% – $990m, and noted that global sales, excluding the impact of its Venezuelan operations, would have grown 4.3% during the April-June period. The Abbott Park, Ill.-based firm said US sales of its recently launched Go & Grow by Similac Food Mix-Ins to add nutrients to toddlers' foods and Curate Kids bars and strong performance in some Latin American and Asian markets drove a 4.3% increase on an operational basis.
