The complaints continue a trend of class actions filed due to sunscreen claims criticized by Consumer Reports.

Class action complaints allege that Coppertone sunscreen products contain half the sun protection factor stated on labels, the latest in litigation targeting sunscreen marketers following a Consumer Reports study scorching SPF claims.
