P&G Extends Crest Toothpaste Line While Trimming Production Footprint

P&G says harmful plaque bacteria below the gum line evades "even the most the diligent brushers," The firm plans in 2020 to move manufacturing of hair, oral and personal care products from Iowa to a facility in West Virginia.

Procter & Gamble Co. extends its oral care lineup with Crest Gum Detoxify toothpaste formulated with "Activated Foam" technology to neutralize plaque bacteria and help prevent gingivitis below the gum line.

The firm on Feb. 7 also announced that in 2020 it will move household soap product manufacturing from a Kansas plant and manufacturing of hair, oral and personal care products...
