ECHA: Hundreds Of Nanomaterials May Be On European Market Illegally

Just 36 of an expected 300 substances used in nanoforms have been registered under REACH, as required by the start of 2020, according to the European Chemicals Agency, which is focused on driving compliance. Meanwhile, the Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety has accepted a Commission request that could lead to priority assessments of cosmetic nanomaterials and restrictions on the use of others.
