Erectile dysfunction drug sildenafil will not be available in Germany without a prescription any time soon, after the country’s reclassification committee rejected all tabled Rx-to-OTC switches at its last sitting.
Alongside xylometazoline and ipratropium bromide combinations for intranasal use, the German Expert Committee for Prescription at its 25 January meeting voted by majority to retain the prescription requirement for sildenafil (50mg, oral use)
