Beauty and personal-care product manufacturers should expect continued supply chain issues in 2023, supplier execs said at the IBA Supply Chain and Sustainability Virtual Summit, highlighting a number of ingredients and materials that could face particular challenges.

Sunflower oil, palm oil, lanolin, and corn-derived ingredients are among those facing supply challenges that may not abate anytime soon, industry experts said in a 20 October session of the Independent Beauty Association’s 2022 Supply Chain and Sustainability Virtual Summit.
