The Personal Care Products Council has brought on Emily Manoso to serve as executive VP, legal and regulatory affairs, and general counsel, replacing Tom Myers who was tapped for president and CEO in December, the Washington-based trade group announced on 4 January. Manoso most recently worked as a trial attorney for the US Department of Justice, but her appointment is a return to PCPC. “Manoso has a robust background in cosmetics and personal care products regulatory and legal issues, having previously worked as PCPC’s associate general counsel and staff counsel,” the US-based trade group explains in the release.
