Beautycounter Founder Returns As CEO; Inter Parfum’s FY2023 Results; Cosmetics News

Beautycounter founder Gregg Renfrew will return to the company as CEO after selling the business in 2021 to the Carlyle Group, announces Counter Brands, LLC, a division of the private equity firm. In a 19 January release, the Santa Monica-based firm notes Renfrew, who will replace interim CEO and board director Mindy Mackenzie, will assume the role on 1 February. Counter Brands reported it was seeking a permanent replacement last summer.
