A court order granting the Council for Responsible Nutrition standing to challenge a New York law age-restricting sales of some dietary supplements and OTC drugs also lays out the difficulty the trade group faces to prevail in the litigation.

The “core purpose” of the regulation is to inhibit minors’ access to dietary supplements given the connection of unsupervised use to eating disorders,” wrote Judge Andrew Carter in a US District Court for Southern New York
