US Capitol Capsule: Lawmakers give 'Super Congress' two cents' worth on big bucks cuts

Seeking to put their mark on what will be included in the $1.2 trillion in deficit reductions mandated under legislation enacted in August, House and Senate committee leaders last week gave their two cents' worth to the bipartisan 12-member "Super Congress" charged with hashing out the details – although, not much of that outpouring of advice was new.
