ASH Preview: BCMA-Targeting CAR-Ts And Bispecifics Hog The Spotlight

Some of the most anticipated data at ASH are for therapies targeting BCMA in multiple myeloma, including a next-gen CAR-T from bluebird and Celgene as well as Amgen's novel BiTE, but an update from China's Legend Biotech and J&J could steal the show.

Multiple Myeloma Awareness: Bone marrow aspirate cytology of multiple myeloma, a type of bone marrow cancer of malignant plasma cells, associated with bone pain, bone fractures and anemia.

It's likely to be standing room only at the American Society of Hematology (ASH) meeting Dec. 1-4 in San Diego as data is unveiled on chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapies and other treatments targeting B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA) in advanced multiple myeloma.
