List and net drug price increases in the US have been substantial over 11 years from 2007 to 2018, and although manufacturer rebates did offset list drug price increases by 62%, net drug prices still increased 3.5 times more than inflation over that timeframe, according to a study published in the Journal of The American Medical Association.
