After months of hiatus and as hospitals and physicians start reopening their doors to walk-in patients and medical sales reps, China’s National Medical Products Administration (NMPA), along with eight other agencies, has kicked off a crackdown on illegal activities involving medical sales.
The campaign aims to prohibit any kick-backs to physicians and medical staff, which will be subject to punishment and public disclosure under a so-called “naming and shaming” campaign
