The South Korean pharma firm, which has been focusing on North America, decides to sell two subsidiaries there as the prolonged coronavirus pandemic further delays commercial manufacturing of plasma products.

South Korea’s GC Pharma Group has decided to sell two of its North American subsidiaries - a plasma fractionation facility in Canada and a US-based plasma collection organization - to Spain's Grifols, S.A. for $460m, in its first large-scale sale of overseas assets in a package deal expected to close by the end of the year.
