“The things I hear about when I walk around the floors in Hyderabad are the things that are on my desk as CEO of Novartis,” said Vas Narasimhan at a press meet last year, referring to the increasingly pivotal contribution of the company’s Global Capability Center (GCC) in India to the Swiss group’s global operations.
