Clinical testing products developer ERBA Diagnostics Mannheim GMBH bought private molecular diagnostics firm Lumora Ltd. for an undisclosed sum. (Sep.)

Lumora's offerings include the BART (Bioluminescent Assay in Real-Time) system for use with isothermal nucleic acid amplification technologies (such as its STEMS), and RapidMag sample collection and extraction technology. These products have applications in HIV, hospital-acquired infections such as C. difficile, and respiratory diseases. With is strong global presence, ERBA will bring Lumora's products to key markets
