Freely Available Microbiome Data ‘Atlas’ Could Provide Industry Boost

King’s College London has released a freely available ‘Human Gut Microbiome Atlas’ to help researchers better understand how microorganisms in the gut impact disease.

Published in Genome Research and led by King’s College London, the Human Gut Microbiome Atlas identifies gut bacteria appearing in individuals with 23 separate diseases across 19 countries. It was created in collaboration with MetaGenoPolis and the Science for Life Laboratory.
