UK-based Proximie has developed digital solutions that allow anyone to dial into surgery. This can be used to confer techniques and share expertise, while also generating large quantities of data that can be used to further train surgeons.

In June 2022, the UK-based digital surgery company Proximie raised $80m in a series C financing round that was supported by big-name investors including Softbank and Laurene Powell Jobs.

The company’s technology uses breakthroughs in digital technology in three different pillars.
