Venezuela Shuns ‘Multinational Pharmaceutical Cartel’ And Turns To Pan American Health Organization

Venezuela has accused the pharmaceutical industry of holding up medicines supplies and says it will acquire them instead through the Pan American Health Organization.

In the midst of socioeconomic crisis and a collapsing healthcare system, the Venezuelan government has said it will buy medicines through the Pan American Health Organization rather than from the multinational pharmaceutical companies that the country’s health minister has accused of blocking sales of medicines to the country.
