In 2020, the European Medicines Agency released a substantially lower number of pages from documents in its possession to which access was requested by EU citizens compared with the figures in the year before.

Specifically, the EMA released 110,995 pages from 1,024 documents last year following “access to documents” requests, compared with 318,013 pages...
