The UK is facing a “collapse” of industry-initiated clinical trials in the UK, a report by the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry has warned. 

The number of Phase III industry trials initiated in the UK fell by 48% between 2017 and 2021, from 269 trials to 140, found the report, published on 20 October
