Dr. Bronner's Reappeals To USDA Following Dismissal Of Organic Claims Suit

Dr. Bronner’s again urges USDA to hold personal care firms to same standards required of food under its National Organic Program. Veteran firm’s suit against The Hain Celestial Group was dismissed Aug. 8.

Dr. Bronner's Magic Soaps says it “philosophically” agrees with the rationale behind a California court decision dismissing its case against The Hain Celestial Group and other personal-care firms – that policing organic claims in the marketplace is the jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of Agriculture – and will bring its fight back to the agency.
